This English translation is provided for convenience. In the event of any discrepancy, the Korean version prevails.
Article 1 (Purpose)
These Terms set forth the conditions and procedures for using the "Sajulab" service (the "Service") provided by Sangduk Han, the developer of Sajulab (the "Developer"), and the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between the Developer and users.
Article 2 (Definitions)
- "Service" means all related services provided by the Developer, including AI-based saju analysis, face reading, compatibility analysis, and Dugeun Saju.
- "User" means any person who uses the Service in accordance with these Terms.
- "Content" means all information provided through the Service, including analysis results, text, and images.
- "Paid Service" means any service that users pay for via Google Play in-app billing.
Article 3 (Effect and Amendment of the Terms)
- These Terms take effect when posted on the Service screen or otherwise notified to users.
- The Developer may amend these Terms to the extent permitted by applicable laws, and will announce amendments in the app at least 7 days before the effective date.
- Users who do not agree to the amended Terms may stop using the Service. Continuing to use the Service without expressing refusal within 7 days of the announcement constitutes agreement to the amended Terms.
Article 4 (Eligibility and Age Restriction)
- The Service is available only to users aged 14 or older. In accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act of Korea, personal information of children under 14 is not collected.
- Users must provide accurate information when using the Service. The Developer is not responsible for disadvantages arising from false information entered by the user.
Article 5 (Description of the Service)
The Developer provides the following services:
- AI saju analysis: Four Pillars interpretation based on date and time of birth
- AI face reading: interpretation based on facial measurement metrics
- AI compatibility analysis: saju and face-reading compatibility between two people
- Dugeun Saju: saju-based interpretation of KakaoTalk conversation screenshots
- Nyang Dosa chat: saju consultation with an AI character
- Other services additionally developed and provided by the Developer
Article 6 (Nature of the Service and Disclaimer)
- All analysis results provided through the Service are for entertainment and reference purposes only and do not replace professional psychological counseling, medical diagnosis, legal advice, financial advice, or relationship counseling.
- The Developer does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of analysis results.
- The Developer assumes no responsibility for outcomes arising from judgments or actions made by users based on analysis results (timing of contact, reply content, continuing or ending a relationship, etc.).
- Saju, face-reading, and compatibility analyses are interpretations based on traditional myeongnihak (Four Pillars studies) and physiognomy, and are not scientifically validated predictions. Users acknowledge this when using the Service.
Article 7 (User Obligations)
- Users must not impersonate others or misuse another person's personal information. When using features that involve entering another person's information (such as compatibility analysis or Dugeun Saju — e.g., birth date or photos), users must do so only when they may lawfully enter such information, and users bear responsibility for any issues arising from a violation of this obligation.
- Users must not reproduce, distribute, broadcast, or otherwise use information obtained through the Service for commercial purposes without the Developer's prior consent.
- When using the Dugeun Saju service, users must upload only messages they themselves have received.
- Users must not use the Service to stalk, harass, or defame others.
- Users must comply with applicable laws, these Terms, and the conditions of use set by the Developer.
Article 8 (Restriction of Use)
- If a user violates the obligations in Article 7, the Developer may restrict or block the user's access to the Service without prior notice.
- Use may be restricted if the Service is used in an abnormal manner or in a way that places excessive load on the system (automated tools, bots, etc.).
- The Developer is not liable for damages arising from such restrictions.
Article 9 (Paid Services and Payment)
- Parts of the Service are provided for a fee. Prices and payment methods are displayed on the relevant service screens.
- All payments are made exclusively through Google Play in-app billing, and Google Play's payment terms apply. The Developer does not directly collect or store users' payment information (such as card numbers).
- Subscriptions must be canceled by the user directly in Google Play (Google Play app → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions). Deleting the app alone does not cancel a subscription.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
Article 10 (Refund Policy)
- One-time purchases (consumable in-app products): Due to the nature of digital content, refunds are not available once an analysis result has been generated and delivered. This follows Article 17(2)5 of the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce of Korea (commencement of digital content delivery).
- Subscriptions: Subscription refunds follow Google Play's refund policy. Refund requests must be made directly through the Google Play Help Center (play.google.com/store/account → Order history → Request a refund).
- Service failure: If you paid but did not properly receive an analysis result due to a failure on the Developer's side, contact richramsang@gmail.com and a re-analysis will be provided. A refund for that purchase will be issued only when re-analysis is not possible.
- Refunds are not provided on the grounds that the analysis result differs from the user's expectations. The Service is for entertainment and reference purposes and does not guarantee any particular outcome.
Article 11 (Changes to and Suspension of the Service)
- The Developer may change or discontinue all or part of the Service for operational or technical reasons.
- As the Service is operated by a single independent developer, it may be temporarily suspended without prior notice due to force majeure, system failures, server maintenance, or the developer's personal circumstances.
- The Developer is not liable for damages caused by service interruptions unless caused by the Developer's willful misconduct or gross negligence.
- If the Service is permanently discontinued, notice will be given in the app at least 30 days in advance. Paid subscribers will be refunded for the remaining subscription period.
Article 12 (Limitation of Liability)
- The Developer is not liable for damages incurred by users in connection with services provided free of charge.
- For paid services, where damages are caused to a user by the Developer's willful misconduct or gross negligence, the Developer's liability is limited to the amount actually paid by that user.
- The Developer is not liable for damages caused by the user's own fault, by third parties, or by the user's judgments or actions based on analysis results.
Article 13 (Intellectual Property)
- Intellectual property rights in the content included in the Service (the Nyang Dosa character, analysis frameworks, prompts, UI/UX, etc.) belong to the Developer.
- Users may use analysis results obtained through the Service for personal purposes, but must not use them commercially or reverse engineer the Service's analysis methods.
Article 14 (Dispute Resolution)
- In the event of a dispute between the Developer and a user regarding the Service, both parties shall consult in good faith to resolve it.
- If consultation fails, a lawsuit may be filed with the competent court under the Civil Procedure Act of Korea.
- These Terms are interpreted and applied in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea.
Addendum
These Terms took effect on May 18, 2026 and were amended on June 10, 2026 (Article 7(1) — clarified the conditions for entering another person's information).
